Hawk Fans!
This season is all about our team's grit, intrinsic motivation and fortitude. Things are not going to be easy for our Hawks but their resiliency has been on full display these first four duals. Adversity is never an excuse for our team but it is a catalase to show their true character. We’re going to fight for everything - everytime!
Our team is blessed with the best and toughest fanbase in the country, and know you’re fighting right beside us! 19 straight isn’t enough and isn’t the focus of our team - it’s the quest of conquering the B1G, NCAA, and the Olympic games this

CLUB UPDATE Four of our five guys brought home hardware from the Bill Farrell International Wrestling Tournament in New York City last month!
Spencer Lee (57kg) won GOLD and an automatic berth at the US Olympic Trials in mid April! Austin DeSanto (65kg) brought home bronze, Pat Lugo (65kg) failed to place, Alex Marinelli (74kg) and Jacob Warner (97kg) both took silver!
The next event and opportunity to qualify for the Olympic Trials is December 16-17 in Fort Worth, TX at the U.S. Open Trials Qualifier tournament. The top five athletes, per weight, from this event will earn an automatic berth to the U.S. Olympic Trials in State College, PA on April 19-20. Below is event information for the two upcoming competitions for our club members!

HAPPENING NOW
Your Iowa Hawkeyes take on Columbia University on Friday, Dec 8th at 7:00 pm! Join us beforehand in downtown Iowa City at the Sports Column starting at 4:00 pm!
For the past two years, we have been partnering with local bars and
restaurants to provide our fans with Pre-Match Socials! Our goal is to create an atmosphere where our community can grow and enjoy Hawkeye Wrestling together. Our social events are open to the public and free of charge! Guests can win raffle prizes, meet Hawkeye legends, and enjoy drink specials before each-and-every home dual this season!
We are also very excited to announce that SingleSpeed Brewing Co and the Hawkeye Wrestling Club are joining forces to elevate our mission to a broader audience! This collaboration joins two organizations that love and celebrate great wrestling! Try it at our Pre-Match Socials, in Carver-Hawkeye Arena during our match, and grab a case for yourself at a local grocery store today!

UPCOMING EVENTS Our next major event is our Arctic Plunge! This event is so much fun and it’s an opportunity for friends, family, and co-workers to come together for one awesome cause! Help us raise money for our athletes as they embark on representing America at the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris, France!
Jumpers set out to raise as
much money as possible for their frigged jump. Jumpers also have fun by dressing in costumes and having unique walk-out songs and themes to their jumps! If you haven’t done it before, this is your chance to make a big splash!! Follow the event link below to learn more.
